ABOUT ORIGINS BEAUTY PRODUCTS AND LIP CARE ROUTINE

Origins' natural and organic lipsticks are made from vitamins and minerals from various Portuguese fruits with different characteristics, all of which are beneficial to your health. 

Each lipstick is made from vegan ingredients and without makeup tests on animals, and it is covered by a cork tube, a sustainable product rich in Portugal. 

Origins beauty products are not harmful to your health or the environment and bring you health benefits. 

ORIGINS STORY

Origins is a love story between the passion for make-up and the desire to create beauty products for all women that met the values and beliefs of other three women. They wanted to conceive a beauty products line that considered all aspects in the daily life of every woman, while contributing to the preservation of nature by avoiding all chemical substances. 

Natalie, Mary and Sara met on their last year of college in 2005. They soon became friends and realized they had much more in common than met the eye. They all had the entrepreneur gene, the driving force that feeds innovation and creativity and they all sought to invest in the bio market 

However, it was only in 2010 they decided on creating a sustainable beauty products brand, Origins. Natalie, a biochemist and marketeer, saw in the modern market an opportunity to build a company for the cosmopolitan woman that valued nature and its potential, while the designer Sara and the developer Mary knew that intensive lip care was also something that would be an advantage for a brand directed to the modern woman. So, they settled to establish a line of beauty and skincare products that would follow these concepts.

As a foundation for each lipstick, lip mask, and other beauty products, they used fruits from Portugal: Orange from Algarve, Cherry from Fundão and Olive from Alentejo. And, thus, Origins, was founded.   

During the first two years of its existence, Origins had no website. It sold primarily on Facebook and bio markets. There was not much need for publicity for the brand to start to grow, due to the originality of its concept and quality of its products. 

As of 2012, Origins had attracted a massive market of buyers, mostly women. Seeing such an evolution and growth, the three founders built this site to cater all the needs of its consumers, providing beauty products for a better lip care routine, a lipstick for a lasting color or lip mask to moisturize the lips. 

Today, Origins beauty products care a reference in more than 35 countries, being the number one leader in this market in Japan, England and Canada.
